Online : Complete an online application and submit your deposit of $750 at kentprep.com
Mail-in: Please mail a completed application form along with your deposit of $750 in the enclosed self-addressed envelope by the deadline.
2.
Once we receive your completed application, we will schedule an admission phone interview within 7 - 10 business days. Each candidate must go through a 30-minute phone or in-person interview with the program director.
3.
Once you pass the preliminary interview, the following documents will be required:
1. a copy of school transcript
2. a reference from a teacher
If you do not meet the criteria or submit all required documents on time, we will release your place from the program and refund your deposit, after deducting a $150 application and interview processing fee. (Please see the Payment & Refund Policy.)
4.
Once all of the following documents are received and screened, the selected students will receive a formal letter of acceptance within 14 business days along with an invitation to register in the program.
5.
After you receive the acceptance letter, you may book your flight and purchase your airplane ticket immediately. Fly into Logan International Airport in Boston, MA on Sunday, July 11, 2010 between 1:00PM - 5:00PM and depart on Saturday, August 7, 2010 between 10:00AM - 2:00PM.

Non-Inclusive Fee Schedule:
Dormitory Security Deposit (Tuft’s University Dormitory) ---------$ 200 (refundable)

Private shuttle bus and escort service ----------------------------------$ 75 (each way)
Additional fee for Unaccompanied Minor(UM) personal care service ---------$ 50 (each way)
Additional fee for flights booked to arrive and
/or depart out of specified time frame ----------------------------------------$ 75 (each way)
All flights must be booked to arrive at and depart from Logan
Airport within these time frames to avoid additional fees:
Arrival time frame: 1PM - 5PM on July 11th
Departure time frame: 10AM - 2PM on August 7th
Any other flights arriving or departing outside these time frames will be charged an additional $75 each way for the cost of individual escort service and way of transportation.
(This fee will not be applied to unexpected flight delays.)
- To reserve your place at Kent Prefects, a deposit of $750 is required by the deadline.
- If your application is received after we close the registration for your region,
you will be notified and your deposit of $750 USD will be fully refunded.
- If you are not selected after the admission process, you will be notified and
your deposit will be refunded after deducting a $150 USD application and interview
processing fee.
- In all other cases, the deposit of $750 USD is non-refundable.
-For International Students : If we must refund your deposit via wire transaction, a $45 USD outgoing wire transaction US bank fee will be applied.
- For Domestic Students :Once you are accepted to the program, the total remaining balance of $8,870 ($8,670 remaining tuition balance + $200 refundable dormitory security deposit) is due within 10 business days from the postmarked date stamped on your acceptance letter.
If the total balance is not paid in full by the due date, your place will be released. This balance must be sent via personal check, bank checks or money order made payable to "KENT" (194-11a Northern Blvd. Bayside, New York 11358).

- For International Students : Once you are accepted to the program, the total remaining balance of $8,915 USD ($8,670 remaining tuition balance + $200 refundable dormitory security deposit + $45 incoming wire transaction US bank fee) is due within 10 business days from the postmarked date stamped on your acceptance letter. If you will be traveling via plane, pertaining airport transportation fees (listed under the Non-Inclusive Fee Schedule) must be added to the total remaining balance. If the total balance is not paid in full by the due date, your place will be released. This balance must be sent via wire transfer and the necessary bank information will be provided along with your letter of acceptance.
- Cancellation of your participation in the program will be subject to the following policy:
Before April 1,2010 : 90% of original tuition refunded
April 1, 2010 - April 30, 2010 : 70% of original tuition refunded
May 1, 2010 - May 31, 2010 : 30% of original tuition refunded
On or after June 1, 2010 : No refund
An additional $200 USD dormitory security deposit will be refunded upon all cancellations.
For international Students : An additional $200 USD dormitory security deposit, minus the $45 outgoing wire transaction US bank fee if applicable, will be refunded upon all cancellations.
- Once the program begins, no refund will be issued for disciplinary violation dismissal
or voluntary withdrawal.
